So not only the Huawei MateBook X Pro is coming to Malaysia, but there's also another model called the MateBook D and according to the company, these two notebooks are coming together with the new Mate 20 series soon.
They include a new ultra-wide angle lens, as well as a telephoto lens and a macro that shoots objects as close as 2.5 centimeters (1 inch). By the look of it, it seems Huawei is targetting the Nintendo Switch with a bigger display and a bigger battery.
Moreover the publication declared the Android flagship will arrive with a 6.39-inch OLED display with a resolution of 3120x1440 pixels.
Huawei has a couple of accessories for the Mate 20 X such as a gaming pad that attaches to the left of the device. The chipset manufactured using 7nm fabrication process is claimed to offer 20 percent improved performance and 40 percent improved efficiency over 10nm chipsets. Huawei Mate 20 price is Euro 799 for the 4GB RAM/ 128GB storage variant and Euro 849 for the variant with 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage. The phone also comes with a "Nano-Memory Card", which occupies the space of a nanoSIM card, with a capacity up to 256GB. The standard Mate 20 has to make do with the older 22.5W SuperCharge tech and no wireless charging. If doodling is more your thing, it also comes with the M Pen stylus that has 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity.
However, no details mentioned in recent leaks have been confirmed by Huawei.
The Huawei Watch GT features a 1.39-inch OLED display with a resolution of 454x454.
The Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro are the first to be powered by Huawei's own Kirin 980 processors, which has twice the number of onboard neural engines compared to 2017's 970. Huawei will start pre-orders for the Huawei Mate 20 X on October 26, 2018, and for the Porsche Design Mate 20 RS on November 16, 2018. For Mate 20 X, it will go up for sale later this month, priced at EUR899. The most notable of these is, of course, the larger display size, making it more comparable to a tablet than a regular phone.
Huawei was the first smartphone manufacturer to release a smartphone with three rear cameras when it launched the P20 and P20 Pro earlier this year - a trend which has since carried on to the Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro. The local price of the Mate 20 RS is now unavailable, but Huawei says it costs $1,695 euros (S$2,696) for the 256GB model and $2,095 euros (S$3,332) for the 512GB model.
