Officials say Robert Bowers was armed with a rifle and three handguns when he walked inside the Tree of Life synagogue during Sabbath services Saturday morning and opened fire, killing 11 people and wounding six in what is believed to be the deadliest attack on Jews in USA history.
Hundreds of people from various faiths took time in North Texas Sunday night to mourn the loss of life at a synagogue in Pittsburgh.
A 97-year-old grandmother was among 11 worshippers killed when a gunman stormed a synagogue in Pittsburgh shouting "All Jews must die".
The oldest victim was identified as 97-year-old Rose Malinger of Squirrel Hill, the heavily Jewish neighbourhood in which the synagogue is located. He has been charged with 29 federal counts including violence and firearms offenses as well as violations of civil rights laws.
"They didn't", Trump told reporters at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland.
Police said the suspect had three handguns and an assault-style rife at the shooting.
The gunman reportedly shouted antisemitic phrases during the shooting, which left 11 people dead and five injured, including four police officers.
"If it happens to one of us, it happens to all of us", Kathy Hurwitz said clutching a tissue.

The shooting, which has sparked an outpouring of grief and shock from American Jews, came just days after a pipe bomb was sent to prominent Jewish philanthropist George Soros, who has been the target of what many see as anti-Semitic conspiracy theories.
"There's a tight-knit community that has supported the Rabinowitz family and we will continue to support the Rabinowitz family", he said. "I just said 'text your friends about the event, ' and it just snowballed". He did not have a criminal record and was not known to police, law enforcement officials said on Saturday.
In one, early on Saturday, he wrote that a Jewish refugee group, the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society, "likes to bring invaders in that kill our people".
Bowers has been arrested and is being treated for gunshot wounds at a hospital.
Some of the funds will be transferred as soon as today to the synagogue via the Islamic Center of Pittsburgh.
Eleven people were killed in Saturday's shooting at the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh, according to Pittsburgh Public Safety Director Wendell Hissrich. "I can't even imagine (Cecil) thinking ill of anyone", she said.
He urged people to be more politically active to combat hateful rhetoric, and he encouraged Jewish people to attend services to show they can not be intimidated.
The Anti-Defamation League said it is likely the deadliest attack on the Jewish community in American history.
