Drama hit reached peak Draymond Green levels on Tuesday after sources told Yahoo Sports' Chris Haynes that the Golden State Warriors forward called superstar teammate Kevin Durant a bitch. Green dribbled away the final possession of the fourth quarter without getting a shot up.
Durant emphatically clapped his hands in an apparent call for the ball, but Green carried it up the court and eventually lost control of the ball without attempting a shot.
Durant's impending free agency heightens the sensitivity of the turmoil.
The conflict stemmed from Monday night's game when Green turned the ball over in the final seconds of regulation of an overtime loss to the Los Angeles Clippers instead of giving the ball to Durant, the team's designated closer with Stephen Curry sidelined.
There's no audio on any footage of Durant and Green's argument, but you can see him slamming his chest and mouthing, "Give me the damn ball!"More news: Rockets To Waive Carmelo Anthony Soon

After the 121-116 overtime loss to the LA Clippers, some witnesses described the closed-door exchange as one of the most intense of this Warriors era.
While on the bench the two could be seen jawing at one another but according to multiple reports, the exchange seeped into the locker room as well.
The organization spent Tuesday dealing with the aftershocks of Monday night's confrontation, while working through the issues involving the team's dynamic, according to league sources.
The starless Clippers improved to 6-1 at home in the current National Basketball Association season.
"Klay Thompson, who is typically reserved, spoke up in the locker room to the surprise of his teammates about the altercation and stressed the importance of sticking together, sources said".
