Graeme Souness: Manchester City in danger of throwing it all away

"But usually you can play 10 matches against Manchester City - maybe Newcastle, maybe Crystal Palace, maybe us as well - you can lose 10 times playing the same, or maybe lose seven, draw two and win one". A shock 1-2 loss to Newcastle United and a win for Tottenham Hotspur against the same opponents yesterday means that the champions find themselves in the 3rd position.

He told Sky Sports: "I've never been with him in his clubs but my impression from outside is that he's a manager who is well prepared".

Emery said: "It's no change for him [Ozil]". I think he is good, he adapts quickly and he is a player with quality.

After being limited to just eight appearances for Barcelona this season, Suarez has revealed his joy at joining the Gunners, as well as continuing his "good relationship" with Unai Emery, after the pair spent the 2014/15 season together at Sevilla.

"One thing no one knows about me is that when I was little and I used to watch the Premier League on the TV, Arsenal were a team that really inspired me", said Denis.

The manager, however, has come out in defence of the former German worldwide, explaining his plans for Suarez before Sunday afternoon's showdown with Manchester City. "[Suarez] is coming here because we have a lot of problems on the wing, we haven't got players to play right or left - that is the reason".

It was a quiet January transfer window for the club too with Denis Suarez's arrival on loan their only addition - despite Emery's desire to see up to three players signed.

Jürgen Klopp is continuing to push his Liverpool side ahead with full momentum to the Premier League title this season. And I saw a lot of players who speak a lot in the locker room, "I want to do that", and afterwards, when they go out on the pitch and they are under pressure, say "I don't want the ball and I don't want to defend".

"The players know exactly the way we are as a strong team and that is what we have to do".

"Different manner of playing, but with very big organisation, very big managers and also very big players".

Laurent Koscielny, on the other hand, is understood to be fit enough to start for Arsenal after it was confirmed he did not suffer a jaw fracture. They are playing at home and for us it will be very hard.

"Doing more with young players, using well players who can improve with us".

Suarez has joined Arsenal on loan until the summer with an option to buy.
