Pakistan's foreign ministry late on Monday said a new order, updating existing laws that deal with those on United Nations sanctions lists, had been issued "to streamline the procedure for implementation of Security Council sanctions against designated individuals and entities". "And, we are continuing to be in discussions we are going to have with the Pakistanis", the US NSA said. "We will do what's in Pakistan's interests", Qureshi told Geo TV in an interview.
The report states that Azhar's address to JeM cadre has been handed over to Pakistan as evidence against the terror chief and the organisation.
India had also shared the dossier with Pakistan after repeated requests by the Imran Khan-government to share evidence of the involvement of JeM with it.
According to the reports received from Pakistan, the action against JeM came in order to implement the National Action Plan of Pakistan, amid mounting pressure from the global community on Islamabad to rein in the terror groups operating from its soil.
Many Pakistani groups and individuals are sanctioned by the United Nations, including the JeM, and Hafiz Saeed, the founder of the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) militant group that carried out the 2008 attacks in the Indian city of Mumbai, in which 166 people were killed.More news: Woods skipping API with neck strain

The crackdown comes after the terror group claimed responsibility for the deaths of at least 40 CRPF jawans in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama on 14 February.
A high-level meeting was held in Pakistan's Ministry of Interior on Monday and it was attended by representatives of all provincial governments of that country.
Indian security agencies were unmoved by reports of arrest of 44 members of the Jaish-e-Mohammad in Pakistan, with officials saying the terrorists were not arrested under the anti-terrorism laws but have only been taken in "preventive detention for investigation".
"We do not want Pakistan to pretend that they are taking steps, rather we want credible and verifiable action against terrorists and terrorist groups", sources said.
The US last month asked Pakistan to "freeze without delay" the funds and other financial assets of the UNSC-designated terrorist networks and their leaders.
Rauf and Hammad Azhar, close relatives of Masood Azhar of JeM, were among listed in the dossier sent by the Indian Government in connection with the Pulwama Attack.
