Measuring over 17 feet and weighing 140 pounds, the female python was discovered with 73 developing eggs, Saturday.
For tracking female pythons, Male pythons are sent attached with radio transmitters and they lead to the breeding area, where female pythons are found.
Officials with the reserve posted an image of the beast they captured in the Florida Everglades, showcasing the mind-boggling size of the python.
The team tracked one of the sentinel males with the transmitter and found this massive female nearby.

Python hunters are said to have caught more than 1,850 of the snakes in the area after they started to wreak havoc on Florida's ecosystem.
Burmese pythons pose "significant threats" to the native wildlife in the preserve, located about 125 kilometres west of Miami, in south Florida.
To control their population, the state even holds competitions encouraging people to remove as many of them as possible, according to CNN. The searchers, however, managed to find only 68 snakes.
The Resource Management staff would like to thank all of the Preseve divisions that have supported the python program.
The snakes began turning up in the Everglades in the 1980s, most likely abandoned by pet owners when the reptiles got too large to handle.
