Plus, the announcement of four new games. During the Devolver Direct on Sunday, June 9, Devolver revealed that Fall Guys Ultimate Knockout will release sometime in 2020 for the PlayStation 4 and PC. This is classic Devolver weirdness, as Bootleg brings together modified editions of 8 of their best games, with the highlight probably being Hotline Milwaukee. Devolver Bootleg seemed to riff on the grey markets of Steam Direct and G2A, and it seemed too absurd to be real.
Announced as part of Devolver Digital's chaotic E3 2019 showcase, Carrion is a horror game in which you play the monster. "Grow and evolve to break down this prison and acquire increasingly devastating skills on the road to punishment". We're not ruling out a home console port, but we reckon they probably mean you can buy your own arcade cabinet, which we can afford, right?
"Enter the Gungeon: House of the Gundead is an original two-player light gun arcade game in which players crawl alone or with a fellow Gungeoneer floor by floor blasting your way down through the army of the Gundead".
It's now available to pre-order for $5,000 through Griffin Aerotech, but don't worry: there's a six-month special financing offer.
